Collection and delivery access

The last few metres deserve a plan.

Getting belongings between countries is only part of the task. The route from the vehicle to the room can change the handling plan.

Check both properties

Record stairs, lifts and unloading distances. Mention narrow approaches, restricted gates and tight doorways. Ask the property contact about vehicle and delivery-time restrictions.

Explain parking and unloading

Say whether a large vehicle can stop near each entrance. If unsure, say so. Ask who needs to check permissions or book space; an enquiry does not include a permit or establish that a team can park anywhere.

Confirm who can receive the delivery

Establish who has keys and can meet the vehicle. Explain building opening times and any delayed handover. Discuss these constraints before collection and record them in the agreed plan.
