Boxes and luggage shipping

Send the belongings you need, without moving a whole home.

Clothes, books and everyday belongings can be a move of their own. Our personal shipping enquiry gives you a place to describe the packages, route and timing, whether you are leaving the UK, returning or moving between other countries.

Start with the contents and package count

List what you want to send and roughly how many boxes, suitcases or bags you expect to have. An existing packing list can be uploaded instead of typed again. Highlight fragile pieces and anything that needs a discussion before packing, rather than describing every package simply as personal effects.

Add measurements where you can

Give length, width and height in centimetres, and weight in kilograms, for each package size. If several boxes are the same size, provide the quantity with those measurements. Estimates are useful at enquiry stage; tell us if the final packed sizes or weights change.

Make collection and delivery clear

Enter both countries and towns and describe access that could affect collection or delivery. Tell us if the destination is temporary, a university residence or an address with limited receiving hours. The delivery contact and arrangements need to match the address available when the shipment arrives.

Agree packing and shipment details

Say whether the packages are already packed or you need materials or packing help. Confirm suitable packaging, accepted contents, collection arrangements and what delivery includes in the proposal. Do not assume that every household product can be shipped, or that a transport option is available for every route.

One request for the whole shipment

Use the shipping form for boxes and luggage, adding a contents list or photographs if available. If you are also moving furniture, use the household moving form and include the packages in the inventory. Your quotation should describe the actual shipment and any charges or responsibilities you need to plan for.

Your questions answered

Can I send suitcases as well as boxes?

Include both in the shipping enquiry, with the approximate number, contents and measurements. Packaging and acceptance are confirmed for the proposed shipment.

What if I have not packed everything yet?

Give your best estimate and say it is provisional. Update the list, package count and measurements before the shipment is agreed.

Does this give an instant shipping price?

The form requests assessment of your packages and route. The quotation needs to reflect packing, collection, delivery and any other agreed requirements.
