Describe each piece
Give approximate dimensions, the material and any existing damage or loose parts. Photos help show shape, finish and condition. Explain whether the piece can be dismantled and whether you have assembly instructions; do not assume dismantling or reassembly is included.
Measure the route through the property
Think about the path from the room to the vehicle, then into the destination home. Note narrow doors, corners, stairs and lift dimensions. Tell us if a piece was originally brought in through an unusual route so it can be assessed before moving day.
Match protection to the furniture
Flag glass, delicate finishes, decorative details and removable components. Ask for packing or white glove assessment where needed. The agreed proposal should identify wrapping, protection and any handling tasks specific to the item.
Agree where the service ends
Explain whether you need delivery to a particular room, positioning or assembly. Confirm what is included, who prepares the rooms and what access must be available. Keep small fittings and instructions identified so they can be accounted for in the moving plan.
Your questions answered
Can you assess antique or delicate furniture?
Use the white glove option and upload photos, dimensions and handling instructions. The item, condition and access determine which tasks can be agreed.
Is furniture assembly included?
Only where it is explicitly agreed in the proposal. Mention dismantling, reassembly and positioning needs when you enquire.
