Describe the collection abroad
Give the country, town and property access details, including stairs, lifts and unloading restrictions. Say who can be present for collection if you will travel before your belongings. Upload an inventory or photos so the assessment starts with a clear picture.
Plan the UK delivery
Enter the destination town or area, even if you have not chosen a property. When available, add the postcode, floor, lift and vehicle access. Explain when you expect to have keys and who can receive the delivery. Keep changes to your address or contact arrangements up to date.
Keep documents separate from the inventory
A list of belongings helps with assessment, but it does not establish which import documents your circumstances require. Confirm the current requirements and the responsibilities in your moving proposal. Keep passports and personal travel documents with you rather than packing them with furniture.
Request the support that suits the move
Tell us whether you need packing at collection, particular-item handling or packing materials. Review the service scope and delivery expectations before collection. If you would also like currency exchange contact, tick the option in the moving enquiry.
Your questions answered
What if my UK address is not final?
Give the town or area you are considering and explain what is undecided. Update the details before the collection and delivery arrangements are confirmed.
Can someone receive the delivery for me?
Tell us who will receive it and what access they can arrange. The contact, keys and receiving responsibilities need to be agreed in the moving plan.
Check the current UK requirements
Use GOV.UK's guidance on moving personal belongings to the UK and HMRC's transfer of residence guidance. Check the conditions for your circumstances and whether your home will be in Great Britain or Northern Ireland. Agree document responsibilities in your moving proposal.
